For the curious

Under Nayab's Hood

This page isn't about a product; it's about the machine that runs this store. If you care how the site you trust is built, you're home.

Zero trackers, zero third eyes

There is no third-party tracking on this site — no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, no external fonts or scripts. Everything is served from our own server, and what happens between you and us stays between you and us.

  • No third-party scripts at all
  • Fonts and images from our own server
  • Logs with personal data redacted

The stack

Nothing to hide — these are exactly the tools we're built with:

Next.js 16

Server-side rendering with the App Router and Server Actions

TypeScript strict

Strict typing; even unchecked array indexing fails the compiler

PostgreSQL + Drizzle

A relational database with versioned migrations committed to git

Tailwind CSS v4

Native right-to-left with CSS logical properties, not hacks

next-intl

Persian and English with 1,600+ translation keys, parity-tested

better-auth

Authentication on our own server; no external identity service

Satori + resvg

A programmable image factory for posts and receipts

Vitest + Playwright

Unit and end-to-end tests running in CI on every change

Three stories about constraints

Real engineering is design under constraint. Three of ours:

  1. The server with no AVX

Our server's CPU is too old to run the standard image-processing library. The fix? Images are optimized in the admin's own browser before upload — the server only ever receives the finished file. A hardware constraint produced a better architecture.

  2. Notifications that cross the filternet

Telegram's servers aren't directly reachable from inside Iran. Your order notifications travel through a small cloud gateway we built ourselves — no commercial middleman involved.

  3. The build that travels in a suitcase

Our server can't reach the npm registry, so every release is built and tested on the dev machine, then shipped whole to the server — like our goods: packed and inspected.

22 Persian font families, all licensed

We take Persian typography seriously — from the newspaper face in our headlines to the industrial face in our numbers. Every family is officially licensed; on the Persian web, that's rarer than our goods.

Our principles

Speed is the design

Our audience sits behind filtering on slow connections; every kilobyte counts.

Transparent to the bone

Just as you can see each product's margin, how the site is built isn't hidden either.

Persian-first, mobile-first

Design starts at 360 pixels and right-to-left — not the other way around.

For everyone

Keyboard, screen readers, and reduced motion are first-class citizens here.

Still curious?

Transparency isn't just about code — our prices are open too.
